Summary:
We had the most amazing day exploring Placencia area, Cockscomb Basin and Maya King Waterfall with Untame Belize! Our guide, Edgar, was fantastic – so knowledgeable about the area, its wildlife, and the culture. From river tubing, waterfall swims and nature tail hikes exploring with Untame Belize was exciting way to take in Belize’s natural beauty.
Everything was seamless from start to finish. Our first point of contact was Hamerlin, who was such a pleasure to communicate with – he answered all our questions ahead of time and made the booking process so easy. Once in Belize, we were in the excellent hands of Edgar, who made the experience unforgettable. Untame Belize is truly your go-to for private experiences in the Hopkins and Placencia area.

Tour was wonderful, light 2-3 mile hike in total through the sanctuary. We were able to see tarantula nest, owl butterflies, wild pigs. Edgar our guide was very knowledgable about the area and trails. We tubed down the river and hiked to the waterfall, where we were able to swim and take plenty of pictures. Waterfall looks just as pictured in advertisement. A wonderful experience in all, would recommend.
